If you are looking to achieve 'glass' skin, our Pro-Yellow Laser is extremely versatile and is clinically proven to treat pigmentation, fine blood vessels (spider veins/telangiectasia), acne, post acne redness and other vascular conditions (eg. rosacea). It is also very popular for skin rejuvenation as there is minimal pain and zero downtime.
Unlike other lasers, the ProYellow laser is an improved version which is able to penetrate deeper into the tissues and has a specific yellow wavelength of just 577 nm. This means that as compared to the standard green wavelength of 532 nm, it has higher absorption in the blood and less power is required during the treatment. As such, you can expect a more comfortable experience with no downtime. It is perfect for anyone needing an instant perk-me-up laser or for brides just before their big day. MMA's PICO-second laser utilises picosecond laser technology that delivers ultra-short bursts of energy to the skin at very high speed of picoseconds. It utilises photoacoustic impact instead of photothermal action which the previous generation of lasers relied on. We advise all our patients considering Hair Removal to avoid sun tanning and outdoor sports activities 1 week before and after laser treatment and to shave 1 - 3 days before laser treatment for best results . Usually , each treatment removes / reduces 80 - 90 % of hair in the treated area. Hair also grows more slowly and becomes finer after each treatment. Patients are advised to come back 3 - 6 monthly for a few sessions for optimal, longer lasting results.
